[:en]2nd Peace Pals International Art Exhibition, Munich, Germany[:]

April 7, 2009 By Peace Pals International

Yesterday was the inauguration of the 2nd Peace Pals International Art Exhibition in “St. Laboure Senior Home” which is 15 miles outside of Munich, Germany. The paintings will remain there until the end of June and then move onto their next location.

This time I could hang up even more paintings as their corridors are pretty long. The inhabitants are “worldly” seniors but also nuns.

They were all very grateful for this event. They said,  “it brings sunshine into their lives.”

Mother Superior, Sr. Ermenfrieda told me that in the short time since the artwork has been displayed on the corridor walls, she has already received many positive remarks about this new exhibition. Nothing opens the heart of our elders more than a child. Many of the nuns used to teach in schools when they were younger.

A Peace Pole planting and dedication ceremony is scheduled to take place at “St. Laboure Senior Home” on May 6th.

I have just recently returned from attending our Multicultural Festival, Pako Festa. I belong to the Geelong Interfaith Network. For many years I have created a space within the little tent for hanging some peace banners with Message, May Peace Prevail On Earth! This year I included the Peace Pals International Art Exhibition.

Many people stopped in and/or walked by the park, consequently, thousands have been exposed to the Artwork and Message, May Peace Prevail On Earth.

I was singing in two Acapella groups that day, so that was wonderful too.

11th Annual Peace Pals International Art Exhibition and Gala – Beacon, New York – USA

September 24, 2008 By Peace Pals International

It has been a dream come true to have The Peace Pals International Art Exhibition return for its official debut to Dutchess County, New York, home of The World Peace Sanctuary.

We are most humble in our endeavor to inspire thousands of children throughout the world. It has been such a joy to know that these children and teens, excitedly await in anticipation, year after year to express their creativity and talent in our Peace Pals International Art Exhibition. The network of participants and countries continue to expand! More than four thousand drawings from thirty-nine countries were submitted by the world’s future artists and peacemakers who have embraced the Universal Message May Peace Prevail On Earth with such impeccable detail to compliment this year’s theme “Friendship.”

It fills our hearts to “see” through their eyes, how they view their world, with the promise of hope, with the innocence and fearlessness of their love for one another, nature and the animal kingdom. They truly get it!
