International<\/strong> along with <strong>The World Peace Prayer Society<\/strong> traveled to Hiroshima and Nagasaki in\u00a0remembrance of the 70th anniversary of the atomic bomb. \u00a0The events\u00a0were broadcast live on the internet and featured the ringing of the Peace Bell, a web Conference, The World Peace Flag Ceremony and the Peace Pals Art Awards Ceremony with the theme, Love to Hiroshima \u00a0Love to Nagasaki.<\/p>\n<p>The Peace Pals Winners were announced live from Hiroshima Peace Park on August 6th, 2015.<\/p>\n\n<table id=\"tablepress-1\" class=\"tablepress Philosophy, Tokyo University.<br \/>\n<b>Toshiko Tanaka<\/b> - Hibakusha and Glass Artist.<br \/>\n<b>Keiko Nakamichi<\/b> - WPPS Hiroshima Member.<\/th>\n<\/tr>\n<\/thead>\n<tbody Ceremony which took place on August 6th, 2015 along the Motoyasu River at the Hiroshima Memorial Peace Park. \u00a0Every year on the anniversary day, over 10,000 lanterns are floated by people who pay respect to all the souls who perished during the atomic bomb attack along with their wishes for world peace.
